We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Casual Funeral Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting all aspects of funeral operations in a respectful and professional environment.

Previous experience is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.

About the Role:

As a Funeral Assistant, you will assist with a wide range of duties across the business. This may include:

- Assisting with funeral services and visitations

- Supporting families and guests in a respectful manner

- Preparing and maintaining facilities and equipment

- Transfers and care-related duties

- General operational and administrative support as required

This role requires someone who is comfortable working in all areas of the business and understands the importance of discretion, empathy, and professionalism.

About You:

- Compassionate, respectful, and emotionally mature

- Comfortable working in a funeral environment

- Well-presented with strong communication skills

- Physically capable of manual handling tasks

- Flexible availability (including some weekends or on-call work if required)

- A team player with a strong work ethic

- Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills
